What's good, I am Lef; I'm an emerging artist from the DMV. I've been making music since I was 5, but I started focusing on music when transferred to North Carolina A&T State University. While I was there I performed at every open mic I could find. This led to performing at multiple college events like, The North Carolina A&T Aggie Fan Fest, UNC-Greensboro's Artistic X-Pression, and a bunch of other campus origination events. Through all of these shows I became an undeniably, great performer. I've since performed on at larger scale event, festivals, and concerts in Maryland, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, DC and Pennsylvania.

As I continue to grow as an artists, so does my skill set. Over the years, I've become a producer, live and studio audio engineer, DJ, host and event curator. In addition to these, I've also chosen collaboration over competion through writing, producing and arranging music for other artists.  

Aside from my own music, I've taken the role of community organizer to combat preditory platforms in the DMV. Instead of complaining, I built my own platform, Something Like, to promote the growth, and collaboration of artists, creatives and small business owners. I also work with other platforms like Open Gem, AV Sessions, and Brandon De'Sean Presents, who share similar goals.
