What's good, I am Lef; I'm an emerging artist from the DMV. I've been making music since I was 5, but I started focusing on music when transferred to North Carolina A&T State University. While I was there I performed at every open mic I could find. This led to performing at multiple college events like, The North Carolina A&T Aggie Fan Fest, UNC-Greensboro's Artistic X-Pression, and a bunch of other campus origination events. Through all of these shows I became, undeniably, a great performer and began performing on a larger scale at a few festivals in Maryland, North Carolina, New York, DC and Pennsylvania. After moving back to the DMV, I decided I wanted to make my own beats, and started making 3-4 a day, still going strong now. My musical influences are too vast to name everything, but they have led me to create music in a multitude of ways; simply put, I won't make something twice.

Aside from music, I also played the role of host, event curator and when needed, graphic designer. I was the host of a weekly open mic in Greensboro NC called Mood AF, the BEST open mic in NC at the time. The open mic led to me being asked to curate and host an art and music festival (The Blackout). These events had a pretty good draw, pulling people from across the state, and at times, an out of state crowd.
